We've been stopping here for breakfast whenever we're in Challis. Absolutely wonderful! Roy's pork sausage, seasoned with his own recipe, is delicious and must be tried. The Roy's Stacker is also good. Great friendly service. A must stop!
We stopped here for breakfast on our way out of town. The food was good, portions were adequate and the service was friendly. All in all, a very good experience.
I had a large group working in Challis for a week and we ordered lunch from all the local restaurants. The Y-Inn was happy to take our 20 orders, had them ready on time, and Joanna painstakingly labeled each order with the recipient's name. everything was beautifully packaged and the whole group was very happy with their food.
Solid breakfast options. Traditional fare. Choices for vegetarians without having to ask if you can swap out the bacon, ham, or sausage. Coffee was good, too.
It was the best we had on our whole trip. The French dip is incorrectly named!! It wasn't just the same old French dip, it was phenomenal!! Should be called something way more better! Best I've ever had, ever. The service and atmosphere were better than perfect.
It was the perfect little place for breakfast. The building was a quaint little log cabin. There was only one server taking care of every table, and she did a phenomenal job. I had the biscuits and gravy meal and my partner had the spanish omelet. Everything was homemade and tasted like it came from your grandma's kitchen!
Stopped here for breakfast back in October on our way to Goldbug hot springs. It was delicious and lots of food!
I had the French dip sandwich and husband had the mushroom swiss cheeseburger. They make the roast for the sandwich, which had a great flavor and was very lean. Husband said the mushrooms (which are fresh) were fabulous. We both had the sweet fries, which were also good. Service was excellent and price was good.
